On the 19th of February, at the Nuovo Dogana Theatre in San Marino, the final of “Una Voce per San Marino” was staged, to select the representative of San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin.
The Sicilian singer-songwriter, who has already had previous television experience, clashed during previous rounds with emerging international talent, and also established Italian artists during the final (such as Achille Lauro), for the chance to appear in the coveted Eurovision Song Contest.
Vina, who was one of the 9 international finalists selected from among 600 candidates, went on to achieve 6th place out of the 18 artists competing on the night.
Vina proudly unveiled her forthcoming single “Sweet Denial“, which is due out this spring, produced by Gavin Holligan whom she co-wrote the record with.
Though Vina didn’t quite qualify to the last stage, the song was highly praised for its high energy and infectious nature, after a power-packed performance by the powerhouse vocalist.
